About me
My name is Fedia Serafiev and I am a specialist with over three decades of experience in the maintenance and diagnostics of railway braking systems. Over the years, I have worked on hundreds of repairs, tests, and certifications, which taught me one thing: reliability is not an option – it is a necessity.
I am the author of five specialized books in the field of braking systems — three of which are registered in the National Register of Published Books in Bulgaria, and two have been published abroad. My primary goal is to pass on this accumulated practical and theoretical experience to the next generation.
Years ago, I turned my attention to IT and open source. Today, I administer Linux servers, build containerized environments with Docker and Proxmox, and optimize web projects for speed and security. I believe that a good specialist thinks in systems — whether it's a brake or a server.
Yet, railway brake systems remain closest to my heart. After all, behind them stands my entire conscious life.
